Mother's Day

I had the best Mothers Day this year.  My youngest daughter made me this pot with flowers and a loaf of homemade muffin bread like I use to make.  Yummy,  she is such a sweetheart.   She's a busy mother with three active young boys, who likes to run in her spare time (?).  She even ran the Boston Marathon last year.  She has become such a great mother, I couldn't be more proud.

We spent the weekend at my other daughters house on the Oregon Coast and the weather was beautiful.  We ate, walked on the beach, shopped my favorite consignment store, relaxed on the beach in the sun and just had a marvelous time.  Did I say we ate?  My daughter loves to cook and doesn't have much time during the week so when she is at the beach she really gets into it.  We had Salmon Chowder, Crab Cakes, Turkey Pesto Sandwiches, Shrimp Cocktails, Buckwheat Pancakes with Caramelized Apples.  Oh, everything was so yummy.  She is a really good cook.   I am so glad she has more time now to spend at her beach house,  she really loves it.  Since she left the "Firm" and ventured out on her own she has began to have time for her own life.  She has worked so hard for so many years and it's makes me happy to see her having more time for the things she loves.

I am very proud of both my daughters,  they are both very successful at what they have chosen to do with their lives.  Their mother loves them very much.

Thank you both for making Mothers Day so special and being the wonderful daughters that you are.

Back soon.
