A Walk in the Park

I've been lucky to have nice days on my banking day at work lately, so I've been  taking my lunch break at the same time so I have time to walk in the park.  There is a really nice city park near the bank in downtown Vancouver, Esther Short Park.  I acturally think there is some history to the park, it was a very early park this side of the rockies.  Or something like that.   It's got some really huge old trees and a beautiful rose garden, among the usual park stuff.  I was overwhelmed by the roses this week, they were so unreal and sculptured looking.  Couldn't resist taking some pictures, although all I had was my cell phone I don't think they turned out to bad.  I put them together into a collage.

It really amazes me the pictures you can get with your cell phones,  although it doesn't have the features my camera has it does have more pixels.  My roses at home never look this perfect.

Thanks for visiting.

Back soon.

These are gorgeous photos!!
Thanks so much for your comments on my blog. I'm not sure what I'll do with the faces I've been making, but they are fun to make!

I want YOUR phone. I'm sure mine wouldn't take that quality of picture. This collage of flowers is inspiring.
