Day 3 Sunriver

I have to crow a bit, last year when we were here I got on a bicycle for the first time in years.  We didn't bike far but I got my feet wet, pretty unsteady thought.  This year, we did a 5 mile ride a couple days ago and today we rode the wildlife trail along the Deschutes River, clear out around the meadow and golf course.  Pretty much the entire perimeter of the resort area, over 10 miles.  And I'm alive to brag about it.  Can't believe I made it.

We started our ride with a few sprinkles but it stopped not far into our ride.  It was still beautiful along the river and thru all the pines.  Out along the meadow and past the airstrip we stopped to watch a doe with her fawn feeding.

Tomorrow we have to head home and back to reality.  But we had a great time and will look forward to our next chance to visit here.  I've got some great ideas and am anxious to get started with some new projects.  Two weeks of no time to create anything except the paper beads I cut and rolled at the art fair last weekend have given me plenty of time to find new inspiration.  My head is spinning with ideas,  now just to organize my thoughts and what to start first.

Stay tuned.

Back soon.
