Bargains and Workspace

OK,  I'm a sucker for a bargain bin.   But how can you resist when the price is so good and you know you can use them in a project.  Check it out, don't you agree?  Each bag was just a dollar.
Thought I'd share my workspace.  I've been working on paper beads still, and the space is a bit messy.  I use to be much more organized but I seem to be able to create better when I have "stuff" around me.  Lots of "stuff" is important to the creative process, anyway that's what I keep telling myself.  I use to think "she who died with the most fabric won", but now fabric is only a small part of the stash.
I'm home today taking care of my honey, he finally had surgery to repair some damage to his shoulder.  So I've been putting, since he's vegging now and groggy on pain meds, maybe I'll sneak in to my sewing room for awhile.

Be back soon.

Thanks for visiting.

Again, I'm really impressed with the beads. I love what you said about the fabric. When I discovered fabric, my life changed and paper went on the back burner.

I hope your hubby is doing better and recovers quickly from his shoulder surgery. Have a great weekend.

Hope your husband is feeling better!
Your studio looks neat compared to mine! I love what you're doing with paper beads. And your "finds" look like they have great potential. I, too, work best with lots of stuff around me, but sometimes the "stuff" makes it hard to find things I need!!
Happy creating!

Your paper beads look stunning and I like your bargains too, something so rewarding about finding something cheap that you can actually use

LOL! that's what I tell myself too..."I can always use it and what if it's the perfect thing to finish my project and I didn't buy it?" Having stash waiting to be used is always inspiring! Your work area looks very interesting! Hope your honey is feeling better :)

I'm also a 'stuff' person, I find it helps the process to have these things on hand (any excuse for excessive hoarding!)

I love your bead buys but your handmade paper ones are my favs! Are you going to wear them or use them on your art pieces? Somewhere I saw them dipped in coloured wax, quite a cool effect.

Al the best to DH and a speedy recovery!

1 buck bags are my favourite finds too, it's always nice to have bits and bobs to provide inspiration and sometimes to be the perfect thing to finish off a creation
