Mixed Media Mondays Challenge

For lack of motivation or inspiration lately I thought maybe a challenge would help get me moving.  Mixed Media Mondays Challenge this week is Buttons, perfect for me, since I like to use a lot of buttons in my collages.

I've used all hand made papers, except the small watercolor wash on watercolor paper.  I added some raffia, beads and of course the all important BUTTONS.   Oh, also a little metallic rick rack and some woven fabric trim.  These buttons are unfinished wood, tied with hemp twine.

There is something calming about using the natural materials and colors, and I like how buttons add another dimension to collage.

Thanks for visiting.

Back soon.
