Whats on Your Workdesk Wednesday

WOYWW seems to be the only Challenge I can get myself to these days.  Lack of motivation, inspiration, whatever it is, I'm buying stuff but can't seem to get it together.  I cleared my sewing space of the last unfinished painting and brought my sewing machine back out.  I want to make a collage using wool fabric.
On my sewing table today is a pile of woolen scraps I got at the Pendleton Woolen Mills.  They sell it in bags by the pound.  What a deal and filled with suprises.  I've sorted thru it, and other then a few small square pieces it's all end strips about 4 inches wide by at least a yard wide.  Some nice pieces, textures and colors to work with.

But still not enough of an idea yet to start cutting these nice woolen pieces.  So check back next Wednesday, maybe I'll have made some head way.

For now, I'll go for a walk, that will clear my head.

See ya next week.

All those lovely scraps on your desk, with all that to look at I am sure your mojo will be back soon. Lovely space to create too. Have a good day, Tracy Evans (18).

I don't think buying stuff should ever be underestimated ... it is an art all of it's own ... your space looks fab!

I can see your gorgeous fabric pic this morning [think there must have been a gremlin in the works yesterday] and will now be looking out to see what you do with it all :-) As for my uniforms...they were all done by wednesday afternoon last week and were collected on Thursday :-)

When I lose inspiration, I put everything away and just start with a small collage of bits lying around..that often sets the creative juices flowing.
Have fun

An idea will hatch when it's good and ready. That desk looks so warm and snuggly, it's making me want to curl up for a sleep.
