No Direction

This is were I am today,  still not sure where I'm going with this.  I have  made a few more squares, played with a piece of tin and searched thru all my buttons.

My squares don't coordinate well, so maybe rather then putting them all on one piece I'll work with each seperate.  I don't know.  I do really like the one with the cameo button, I found a pair in my sisters sewing drawer.

My next step is to move some of the sorted piles of woolens off my work space so I can lay things out better.  Maybe by playing with them a bit something will come together.

I'm going to take my sister to the beach this weekend, maybe some fresh ocean air will clear my mind.  Cannon Beach has some really cool shops, galleries and seafood.  Yummy, clam chowder weather.

Back soon, thanks for visiting.

I adore buttons - would love to rummage there. Just work on each square as a little work of art and let it tell you where it needs to be!

Enjoy the beach, sometimes walking away to clear your mind opens up new possibilities. I, too, would love to rummage through all those buttons.

Wow, how did I get so behind on your blog? I see I have some catching up to do... I'll be back tomorrow, but I agree with sasa - it'll tell you where it needs to be!

:You'll get there. Love the image of all the different buttons, fabrics, etc. Fun to see what you work with and a bit of the process.

Nothing like a sea breeze to blow the cobwebs away and hopefully inspire you to create. My last visit to the seaside (Wednesday)ended up with me putting my um's on foam and cutting them out - took forever. Now I need to stamp. #142

Sounds like you are stuck, like me.Like you, sometimes just rearranging and organizing clears the mind. I hope you are now having a great time at the beach.

Thanks for sharing your desk. I could never have buttons out loose like that - my cat would have a field day with them! Elizabeth #87

Well of course from where I'm sitting it all looks very good, but I guess if it's making you feel blocked, you NEED a weekend at the beach! Show us the results of your recharged mojo won't you!
