Tuesday Already

I thought I'd get this posted on Monday but the day just flew by.  The weekend was so busy as they seem to be this time of year.  I am paying for it now with the aches and pains from dragging out all the Christmas decorations from the attic.  I swear this year if we don't use it, I'm going to pass it on.  I refuse to put it back in the attic one more year.  Since my Honey's body just won't let him climb into the attic it is up to me to haul it down.  Yuk!

I did get the tree up, first time in several years.  Figured since the kids are all coming here Christmas Eve I better get it up.  It's funny as you age it just doesn't seem to be as important.  But the grandkids will be here so have to have a tree.

I went out and bought some new decorations for the tree, haven't done that in years.  I've collected teddybear ornaments for years and only put them on the tree in the past.  This year I thought I wanted more color and less teddys.
These are just a few of the teddy's I added.  I live with a golfer so have to have some appropriate representation.

And the finished project, wow, I finished something.  Haven't been doing much of that lately.

Time to finish my cup of tea from my favorite Lucy & Me Teddybear Christmas mug then off to work.

Have a great week.

Thanks for visiting.

Your tree is beautiful all decked out like it is .... I know what you mean about hauling stuff out .... This year I left about half of the stuff in the box .... Feels good and less cluttered around the already cluttery house.

I never did make the driftwood wreath. I forgot that I already have a grapevine wreath from last year with all kinds of doodads on it. Not as natural and pretty as your driftwood idea, but it will do :)

I was going to send you email to thank you for the wonderful collage you sent me. Then I thought your woyww friends would enjoy learning you made your old sister-in-law happy by gifting me a special creation. I love it, reminds me of "hidden object" game. The more you look, the more you discover. Of course it is all about sewing, as I've had a long time relationship with my sewing machines. It is beautiful, thank you, Nel

P.S. Your tree is gorgeous, Merry Christmas to you all.

I found you from Long Hollow. I love your site. I’m going to poke around a little bit, but don’t worry I’ll put everything back where I found it!!
