Art in Words

It's Wednesday already and this is the project on my desk today.  I'm working on the first of 3 panels for a wall at my daughters beach house.  Since I've been into doodling with words lately the first panel is just that, words.  All related to the beach.
This part was fun, it started on the computer with a list of words.  Then changing the fonts, size and color of the words.  After cutting them out and arranging them, it was back to the computer to change some sizes and colors to fit better.  I could have played with the arrangement for hours but had to just holler, stop!  Now it's ready for some detail, more color, maybe some embellishment,  and whatever comes.   The second and third pieces I  will use similiar colors but not words.

Next on the schedule for this room will be a duvet cover, pillows and curtains.  All in coordinated fabric.  That should finish the bonus/bunk room.

So this is Whats on my Workdesk Wednesday.   Check out Julia's site to see what's on everyone else's desk today.

Thanks for visiting.

Love the idea of using text like that. Good luck with the soft furnishings. If you haven't been yet please pop over to our blog shop, leave us a comment and be in with the chance to win a crafter's apron.

Good luck.
