Beach Crafts

It was a beautiful weekend on the coast, sunshine, clear skies and a gentle breeze on Saturday and warm but overcast on Sunday.   Couldn't have ask for better weather.
I took these along the path to the beach, so many plants blooming I couldn't resist snapping some pics.

I also had some time at the beach to finish a driftwood wreath I started awhile back.  Click here to see the beginning of the project.   With my trusty glue gun in hand I attached some sand dollars that the grand kids had collected on their last trip and a couple small shells from their "treasure jars".  I might be in trouble if they notice them missing.   Then I purchased 3 small Starfish for a little color contrast.  Just a little welcoming beach decor when guest enter the beach house.
I finished all the polka dot stuff I was making for the bonus room at the beach house, I'll post the photos with a little tutorial in the next couple of days.

Hope you all had a great weekend.  Thanks for visiting.

how pretty! The beach and the flowers and the wreath! I havn't been to the coast, any coast, in years! And though I'm not a beach bum, I'd not be opposed to a visit once in a while. Glad you had a nice weekend!
