Fiber Arts Show Entry

Just in time, finished.  Three pieces framed wired and ready to submit to Gallery 360 in Downtown Vancouver for their Fiber Arts Show.  Yeah!!!  Wasn't sure if I was going to make it, some pieces you just can't rush.  They come together when they come together.  Here's some quick pics.  Photography is not my best suit.
Titled: The Portal

I found a really cool bamboo frame for the top piece,  the only one with a title.   I took the picture before it was framed though.

They are all paper, fabric, twine and some embellishments.  Each is 11" x 14".   Lots of tearing,  arranging and rearranging.

Been a busy week.   Now I can pack for my weekend in San Francisco with my 11 year old grandson.  This is his first airplane trip.  I took his older brother a couple years ago so now it's the middle grandsons turn.  One more to go.  Should be fun, we are staying near Fishermans Wharf so will have lots to do.

Thanks for visiting.

Oh me likie! Love the asian influence on the bottom 2 - most excellent. The colors and textures are perfect. Bottom left is my favorite - it's perfection.

I really like these! I'm glad they came together for you!! Have fun in San Francisco, by the way. Lucky grandkids. Thanks for the idea (in case I ever have grandkids of my own. Starting to wonder...)

Lovely fiber pieces and I'm thrilled you're going to join us for Share the Joy Thursday. I'm just up the road in Gig Harbor, by the way.
