My Kind of Weekend

This had to be the kind of weekend I enjoy most.  I got my long weekend walk in first thing Saturday morning then a little work in the yard.  Actually a little more then I had planned but got the front cleaned up and the tree trimmed.  Then a trip to the gallery to see if I had sold anything, another stop at the Craft Warehouse, then Lowe's for a couple of replacement plants.  Then the rest of the day was time to create.

I started one project and a couple of cards.   This is a layered paper kimono with embellishments, in progress.
And here's one of the cards I haven't yet finished.  I love making the cards,  they aren't planned, just working with the scraps from my bigger pieces.  So it's fun seeing how you can arrange all the bits and pieces.  These are on a  5" x 6" blank card.  I will be selling these on Etsy shortly.
Sunday was spent with my Honey's family.   Even had a little time to work on my cards.  I am a multi tasker at heart,  love having several projects going at a time.    And then there is always my doodles when time doesn't allow me to sit down and work on a bigger project.

Oh, by the way, nothing has sold yet at the gallery.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks for visiting.
