Catch Up

I finally got my photos from last weekend downloaded and thought I'd share before any more time passes.   For those of you that are new to my blog I've been working on a 3 piece set to hang in the beach house.  I finally got them on the wall last weekend.  Here are the three just before going up on the wall.

The weather was rainy and windy but you can't let that stop you on the Oregon coast.   It's beautiful no matter what the weather.

No trip to the Oregon Coast is complete without a trip to the Tillamook Cheese Factory.  Did I tell you what a great gift shop they have, along with cheese samples and great ice cream cones.

I'm a bit of a bear collector, don't buy as many as I use to, running out of room.  But once in awhile I see something that speaks to me, or is unique, unlike anything I have, and I have to have it.  This is a wooden like Pozy Bear titled "For You".  My treasure from this trip to the cheese factory.

If you are in the area also check out the Blue Heron Cheese Factory just down the road on Hwy 101.  You can graze your way thru the shop and also sample some wine.

Busy day ahead today, my baby is turning 40 today so a party is planned.  It was suppose to be a surprise but she hasn't made it easy so I think we are going to have to tell her, to get her out of the house.

Just finished my morning walk and have a Jimmy Buffet/Zac Brown song stuck in my head.   I love the line "When you lose yourself, You find the key to paradise"   Hope you find time to "lose yourself"  this weekend.

Thanks for visiting.

Sounds wonderful -- I've been to the Tillamook factory but not Blue Heron.

Your collages are lovely! They will fit the setting beautifully! What a wonderful retreat!I bet that time spent there really gets the creative juices flowing.
