Ok, so i guess it's time to put the flip flops away.

I fought it, I wore them at the beach in the rain this last weekend.  I've been holding out but today, it's definitively fall.  The flip flops are moving to the back of the closet.
My morning walk through my neighborhood in the fog.  It wasn't really as dark as this photo looks.

 Dew covered spider webs.

I don't know what kind of bug does this but there were patches of these webs all over this morning.

“Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit,
and resign yourself to the influence of the earth.”
― Henry David ThoreauWalden, or Life in the Woods

I'm not really complaining, I do love fall.  That's one of the many things I love
about the Northwest, we do get to enjoy all the seasons.

Hope you are having a great week.   Thanks for visiting.

Hi Cynthia
Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment. I enjoy your photos - the spider web looks pretty. The top photo looks cold - was it? Fall in New York (where I am at the moment) is lovely. We had a bit of rain this morning, but I didn't even need an umbrealla. The weather is just perfect for walking around.

Have a great week.

Oh, say it isn't so...not time to put away the sandals! I try desperately to hang on to summer too, wearing mine until at least mid-October. But, yes, autumn (in Illinois) is breathtaking, and also a welcome time for absorbing nature's beauty and collecting wonderful, colorful leaves.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos.
