I planted some ground cover a few years back along the side of the house and it has really taken off. All the gaps have filled in and it feels so good to walk on it.
And the Hollyhocks on the arbor are blooming.
I took these this morning when there was still a few raindrops on the leaves of the Hosta. I love these when they are all filled out, they will have a bloom a little later in the summer.
And a little visitor hiding under the leaves.
I have several little Gnomes hiding about.
This one is lost in a pot of succulents on the patio.
The Calla Lily is so stately, tall and serene. Because of a late freeze last year I never got any blooms, so it's nice to see them back this year.
And the Begonias, what can I say, they are beautiful. These are in a pot on the patio where I can see them from my desk.
This is it, not a big yard but enough for us to keep up. It looks more lush looking behind me. There's a Tulip tree and Flowering Plum and a couple Hydrangeas, lots of ground cover and a Forsythia. I had to have the Forsythia, as a little girl I always thought it was "for Cynthia." My Honey does a great job of keeping it up, although since his back surgery we've had my grandsons mowing for us. They are both the perfect age and want to earn the money. So it's worked out great.
Just a little tour today, been so busy trying to get everything ready for the Art Fairs this summer haven't had time to keep up.
Thanks for visiting.
